This policy applies to users in Spain and the European Union (GDPR and LOPDGDD), Mexico (LFPDPPP and its Regulations) and the United States (state privacy laws such as California's CCPA/CPRA and equivalent legislation in other states). The data from your personal reflection (Wheel of Life, conditions, changes) is especially sensitive to you: we treat it with the same standard of protection as special-category data, and we never use it to profile you for advertising.
4.What we use your data for
- Pre-contractual relationship and enquiries: handling your enquiries and requests.
- Performance of a contract: providing you with the service, including access to your Happiness Play Dashboard. If you access through an organisation (Happiness Play Pro), we generate aggregated, anonymous climate metrics for that organisation — we never share your individual answers with your company.
- Commercial communications: only with your express consent, and always with an opt-out option.
- Service interaction: analysing aggregated usage to improve the platform.
We do not use your data to make automated decisions with legal effects on you.
5.Data retention
Personal data is kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and for the applicable statutory limitation periods. If you delete your account, we erase or anonymise it within a reasonable period.
6.Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with technology service providers necessary for the operation of the platform, always under strict security measures and in accordance with the applicable regulations, or where legally required.
7.International transfers
Happiness Play may transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or the Americas. In those cases we guarantee adequate protection measures, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8.Direct marketing

We adopt reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access control, backups) to protect your data. No system is 100% invulnerable; we recommend using a strong password and not sharing it.

If you believe we have processed your data improperly, you may lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
11.Your rights — Mexico (LFPDPPP)
If you reside in Mexico, you have the right to exercise your ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Objection), as well as to limit the use or disclosure of your data and to revoke your consent, by writing to the same contact email.
12.Your rights — United States (CCPA/CPRA)
If you reside in California or another US state with equivalent legislation, you have the right to know what data we collect and use, to request its deletion or correction, to obtain a portable copy, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal data as defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so the right to opt out of sale is already satisfied by default. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals when your browser sends them.
